Job summary

Brainkind is seeking a Bank Rehabilitation Support Worker for Glasgow (Graham Anderson House) to provide personalised support to adult residents. You will follow individual plans to develop independence in daily living skills and participate in a wide range of activities, both on-site and in the community.

Training and support are provided; a compassionate, team-based approach is essential. The role requires empathy, reliability and strong communication, with hour shifts including day and night

Qualifications

  • At least 12 months UK experience is preferred.
  • Empathy, patience and resilience to support residents through rehabilitation.
  • Enjoy teamwork and take pride in completing tasks with colleagues.
  • Excellent face-to-face communication skills and a good standard of literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised support following individual support plans to meet residents' needs and aspirations.
  • Develop independent living skills such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities and socialising.
  • Organise and participate in activities (art, crafts, music, sports, gardening, shopping, swimming, college, employment) and use on-site gymnasiums.
