Job summary

Content Guru in Bracknell is seeking high-calibre graduates to join our application engineering team as Software Developers following an Assessment Day in October. You will develop back-end components in C#, work in an Agile team to meet customer requirements, and test and deploy new features.

You will contribute to maintaining and improving the cloud communications platform, with exposure to .NET 5/6, SQL Server, React.js and containerised deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, Computer Science or related subject.
• Strong experience developing commercial projects in C#.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server).
• Experience with Git and source control.
• Experience in Agile environments, particularly Scrum.
• Knowledge of OWASP ASVS or equivalent application security standards.
• Experience with .NET 5/6.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js.
• Experience building containerised apps with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Write code in C# and design architecture of new components.
• Work in an Agile team to develop back-end applications and features.
• Thoroughly test features and validate builds for launch.
• Maintain and upgrade the platform following internal procedures.
• Peer review colleagues’ work and share improvement ideas.
