Recruit So Simple Ltd in London is seeking a Mid weight Boyswear Designer with a sportswear/leisurewear handwriting and recent UK experience to join a central fashion business. The role covers design leadership, product development and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive ranges.

The position is office-based in London, permanent and full-time with a salary of £35,000–£45,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and bens.

Qualifications

• Mid weight boyswear designer with a sportswear / leisurewear handwriting and recent UK experience.
• First class communications skills (verbal and written).
• Dynamic with a can-do attitude, flexible to work on other brands.
• London based or commutable within an hour and eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and product development of a key boyswear house brand focusing on sports/leisurewear across multiple products.
• Manage commercial relevance and market performance.
• Oversee full design lifecycle from research and concept to technical packs and SMS samples.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, buying, merchandising, licensors, and international suppliers.
• Source seasonal fabrics, trims and liaise with mills, factories and suppliers in the Far East and South Asia.
• Oversee fabric, trim and print development to deliver on-brand collections within cost targets and timelines.
• Present seasonal collections to UK and Poland buyers.

Boyswear leisurewear Designer

Location: London – office based

Salary to £45k DOE + Bens

We are working with a growing successful fashion business in central London to add a Mid weight Boyswear Designer with a string sports/leisurewear handwriting to their design team of over twenty and work on a key boyswear area for them

The role

• Leading the design and product development of a key in boyswear house brand covering multi product but with a focus on sports/leisurewear
• Dealing with it's commercial relevance, and strong market performance.
• Managing the full design lifecycle, from initial research and concept development, final technical packs to final SMS samples. Developing cohesive product ranges across multiple categories while maintaining aesthetic and quality standards.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, buying, merchandising, licensors, and international suppliers.
• Souring seasonal fabrics, trims and collaborating with far East Asian and South Asian mills, factories, and suppliers.
• Overseeing fabric, trim, and print development to deliver value-driven, on-brand collections.
• Ensuring all designs meet cost targets and production timelines across diverse global markets.
• Help present seasonal collections to buyers from the UK and Poland.

Must haves to be shortlisted
