Job summary

A leading defense contractor in Shrewsbury is seeking an Assembly & Integration Technician for the MIV Boxer Programme. You will be responsible for assembling and integrating modular structures of advanced military vehicles. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 Engineering qualification and assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Engineering / Manufacturing bias required.
• Experience in assembly within electrical or mechanical engineering.
• UK MOD ‘SC’ security clearance needed or sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate systems for the MIV Boxer vehicles.
• Confirm integrity of vehicle systems and conduct basic tests.
• Complete technical reports and assist Quality department.

Skills

Assembly experience in electrical or mechanical engineering

Understanding and application of electrical and mechanical engineering principles

Ability to read technical drawings

Communication skills

Motivated and disciplined with attention to detail

Education

Level 3 qualification in Engineering / Manufacturing
