Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a registered nurse to join the Gastrointestinal Physiology service, focusing on specialist adult bowel care. The role includes learning anorectal physiology, biofeedback, urodynamics and related care, with full training and a plan to progress to autonomous practice.

You will work within an MDT, perform diagnostic investigations, and support management for complex pelvic floor conditions, while contributing to service development and education.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse (NMC) with current registration.
• Interest in specialist adult bowel care and GI physiology.
• Good IT literacy and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic investigations and conservative treatment options as part of the GI Physiology team.
• Record keeping and report writing in line with Trust policy and NMC standards.
• Lead MDT discussions, participate in audits and contribute to service development.
