Job summary

Highland Spring Group in Ochils seeks a Process Support Engineer to improve high‑speed bottling and packaging lines, using data, practical engineering knowledge and strong team collaboration.

You will analyse performance (OEE, downtime, waste), lead structured problem‑solving with Lean and Six Sigma, and help embed standard practices, safety, quality and sustainable improvements across production.

Qualifications

• A degree or HND in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing, ideally bottling/packaging.
• Knowledge of process improvement and line optimisation.
• Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Ability to engage, coach and influence people at all levels.
• Clear, confident and pragmatic communication style.
• Commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement and sustainable performance.

Responsibilities

• Improve bottling line performance using data and practical engineering knowledge.
• Analyse line performance including OEE, downtime, waste and changeovers.
• Lead structured problem-solving using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
• Embed best-practice line running and asset care standards.
• Support trials, process changes and standard-setting to stabilise improvements.
• Help simplify and improve SOPs, standards and ways of working.
