Job summary

A premium spirits producer in Uddingston is seeking an experienced Equipment and Facilities Engineer. The role involves maintaining the bottling line and ensuring the effective operation of all technical aspects of the site. Candidates should have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with experience in manufacturing environments. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance setting.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
  • Strong planning and organizational capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe operation of all site assets and equipment.
  • Quickly resolve breakdowns using available resources.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and workloads.

Skills

Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
Experience with contract and supplier management
Planning and organisational skills
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
AHU and plant process experience

Education

NVQ/City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
