A leading healthcare logistics company in the UK is hiring a Healthcare Logistics Driver to deliver medicines and supplies. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of driving experience, a commitment to outstanding customer care, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks. Joining us as a Boots Healthcare Logistics Driver (HLD) is a great opportunity. You’ll deliver first class care to those in the community who might otherwise never visit a Boots store. You’ll be part of a service that prioritises the patient behind the parcel and offers more than typical delivery roles.
You will report to the Healthcare Logistics Manager and provide outstanding customer care by delivering and collecting medicines from care homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and other Boots stores within an allocated route time. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while following safety protocols. You’ll be provided with a Boots-maintained vehicle and all training and equipment needed to work safely, including a handheld device with pre-planned routing and satellite navigation.

We are looking for drivers who can be flexible to meet our customers needs. Your basic hours will be 17.5 hours per week with 2 days and 2 evenings together (Monday to Saturday). You will cover AM/PM/evenings and weekend shifts with typical hours from 8:45 to 20:00 (Saturdays 8:45 to 17:00). You will be on-call for a minimum of two additional shifts per week to cover extra deliveries as needed.
