Job summary

Morrisons in Guisborough is seeking a part-time Books Merchandiser to ensure in-store displays are visually appealing, well-stocked and aligned with client briefs.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with a proactive approach. Driving licence and vehicle use are required; average 5–20 hours weekly under a flexible, zero-hour contract.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Friendly, confident, and proactive with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment & display: move stock from warehouse to shop floor and present products to a high standard.
• Planogram compliance: implement planograms and visual briefs to meet layouts and standards.
• Promotional execution: set up promotional materials, price labels, and POS displays to support campaigns.
• Reporting & communication: use a company device/app to access briefs, record activity, upload photos, and provide feedback to client teams.
• Relationship building: develop positive relationships with store managers and colleagues.
