About the Role We’ll Mind Your Own Business Ltd. is a relationship‑led accountancy practice supporting a diverse portfolio of clients, including many in Film and TV. We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage day‑to‑day financial activity, record keeping, reconciliations, and client support. This is a varied role in a collaborative team, offering career progression and study support.
Role Overview
You will handle bookkeeping and general administration for clients, ensuring accurate financial records and efficient processes. The role involves remote work with occasional visits to client offices, including production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and complete postings
- Maintain supplier, customer, and general ledgers
- Support accounts payable and receivable
- Process bill payments and client invoices
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Reconcile petty cash, journals, and bank deposits
- Liaise with clients via correspondence and meetings
- Assist with client reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Suggest improvements to systems and processes
- Travel to client offices when required
Candidate Requirements
- 2–3 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role
- AAT Level 2 qualified and studying towards (or completed) Level 3
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Experience with accounting software (Xero, Sage)
- Proactive mindset and problem‑solving ability
- Experience with production‑specific software (e.g., Money Penny)
