You will work with modern software such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks, with scope to grow into accounts prep and tax work; we offer free parking, an early finish on Fridays and ongoing study support.

Qualifications

• Day-to-day bookkeeping for SME clients
• Payroll for clients
• VAT returns processing
• Potential involvement in accounts and tax work in future

Responsibilities

• Day–to–day bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients
• Processing sales and purchase ledgers
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Processing payroll for clients
• Supporting the wider team where required
• Potential involvement in accounts and tax work (longer–term)
