Location: Glasgow (Office-Based)

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 (Pro‑rate)

Hours: Part‑Time (3 days)

Are you a highly organised and detail‑driven professional with a passion for finance and administration? Join a very successful business in Glasgow as a Bookkeeper/Office Administrator and become a key part of the team.

This is a part‑time, office‑based position, ideal for someone looking to contribute meaningfully to a thriving business while enjoying a flexible work‑life balance. You will be at the heart of our operations, providing essential support and acting as a trusted point of contact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping: Accurately process invoices and credit notes, maintaining up‑to‑date financial records.
  • Payroll Support: Collate payroll data for submission to our external accountant.
  • Supplier Management: Communicate with suppliers to resolve pricing discrepancies, request refunds, and follow up on delivery issues.
  • Administrative Oversight: Manage contracts, new starts and policies.
  • Office Management: Handle general administrative duties, including managing shared inboxes and assisting with ad hoc tasks.
  • Team Support: Provide ongoing operational support to the wider team and serve as a senior support figure during management absences.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping or office admin role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Confidence working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with Xero would be beneficial but not required.
  • A proactive, problem‑solving approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
