Job summary

REED Practice in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join an established accountancy team on a full-time basis, with part-time considered. The role manages bookkeeping, VAT submissions and CIS returns across a varied client portfolio, in a supportive and close-knit office environment.

You will be responsible for meeting deadlines, liaising with clients and following office systems while supporting the growth of the practice.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Bookkeeper and liaising with clients in a paper-based office.
• Comfortable working in a small close-knit team.
• Team player and eager to join a growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients' bookkeeping and VAT submissions.
• Submit CIS returns for clients (25–30 clients).
• Prepare income tax returns as required.
• Follow office systems and file structures for delivery of work.
• Meet deadlines within a supportive team.
