A leading sales community in London is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper and Credit controller to join their team. This role involves managing financial functions, including VAT returns, bank payments, and credit control. Candidates should have a finance degree, 2+ years of experience, and exceptional attention to detail. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare required information after bookkeeping functions.
• Set up and monitor bank payments.
• Conduct credit control functions, including preparing statements.
• Prepare VAT returns and submit approved ones.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage supplier and sales ledger functions.
• Maintain knowledge of Zero accounting package.
• Build & maintain adequate knowledge of Zero accounting package.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will vary; however, some of them will be to:

Prepare a list of required information following the completion of the bookkeeping functions.

Set up and monitor bank payments on various banking platforms.

Credit control functions including preparing statements for clients.

Prepare VAT returns and submit once approved.

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.

Prepare supplier reconciliations.

Purchase ledger and sales ledger functions.

Build & maintain adequate knowledge of Zero accounting package.
