Retail Insights is Northern Europe’s leading retail forum, seeking a Bookkeeper and Credit controller to join our HQ in London. You will own our finances and contribute to growth within a fast-paced entrepreneurial team.

Formación

• Finance bachelor’s or master's degree is required.
• 2+ years experience in finance.
• UK work permit.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Highly process oriented and systematic.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare information after bookkeeping tasks.
• Set up and monitor bank payments on various platforms.
• Credit control: prepare client statements.
• Prepare VAT returns and submit after approval.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare system-driven management accounts.
• Prepare supplier reconciliations.
• Purchase and sales ledger functions.
• Maintain knowledge of Xero accounting package.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will vary; however, some of them will be to:

• Prepare a list of required information following the completion of the bookkeeping functions.
• Set up and monitor bank payments on various banking platforms.
• Credit control functions including preparing statements for clients.
• Prepare VAT returns and submit once approved.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare system driven management accounts.
• Prepare supplier reconciliations.
• Purchase ledger and sales ledger functions.
• Build & maintain adequate knowledge of Zero accounting package.

• Have acquired a finance bachelor’s or master's degree with outstanding results (finance exams are a plus)
• 2+ years experience in finance
• Have an UK work permit
• Have an exceptional attention to detail
• Have excellent problem solving skills
• Are highly process oriented and systematic

The role is onsite, Monday to Friday, based in our offices at Buckingham Gate. It is essential we work at a fast pace and collaborate in person to create market-leading, unmatched events throughout the calendar year. It will be great to have you as part of our team.
