Job Description:

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a part-time opportunity with purpose? We’re recruiting on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation that supports a network of sport-focused bodies across Wales. They’re seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join them one day per week (Tuesday or Wednesday) on a 12-month basis. This is an office-based role in Cardiff, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the satisfaction of supporting multiple teams with essential finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage bookkeeping for up to 14 partner organisations
  2. Handle invoicing, purchase ledger, and finance admin tasks
  3. Support the preparation of management accounts
  4. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  5. Report into the organisation’s Finance Officer

What You’ll Need:

  1. Proven bookkeeping experience
  2. Strong working knowledge of Xero and/or QuickBooks is highly desirable
  3. Experience with Sage also considered
  4. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  5. Ability to work independently within a supportive team environment
  6. Immediate availability is essential

The Offer:

  1. £26,000 pro rata
  2. 1 day per week (Tuesday or Wednesday)
  3. 12-month basis
  4. Office-based in Cardiff
