Sharp Consultancy are partnering with a well-established business based in York who are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their growing team.

This role will work alongside a larger finance team to handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining client records, reconciliations, VAT returns, and month-end support, with flexible hours and one day working from home. Private healthcare and 25 days of leave are included.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in bookkeeping or accounts roles.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and ability to work with a team and independently.

• Maintain client records and ledgers.

Job Duties:

• Maintaining client records
• Reconciliation across accounts
• Ensuring ledgers are up to date, processing invoices and supplier statements
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Assisting with month end preparation

About you:

• Previous experience within a bookkeeping position
• Well organised
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Microsoft proficient
