Job summary

Pertemps in Bristol is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a small, friendly accountancy practice on a permanent basis. You’ll manage a varied portfolio of client accounts and support day-to-day bookkeeping activities. Working hours are 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with parking nearby.

The role covers ledgers, VAT returns, bank reconciliations and preparing information for year‑end. Ideal candidates will have bookkeeping experience, VAT knowledge, and be confident dealing with clients

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping experience.
• Experience in an accountancy practice preferred.
• Good working knowledge of bookkeeping and VAT.
• Comfortable using accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confident dealing directly with clients.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage your own workload.

We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a small, friendly accountancy practice in Bristol.

This is a varied role working with a portfolio of clients, ideal for someone who already has bookkeeping experience and enjoys working in a smaller practice environment.
