Qualifications

  • Bookkeeping experience in a practice is essential.
  • Experience using QuickBooks and Xero would be beneficial.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake bank reconciliations.
  • Raise sales invoices as per clients' instructions.
  • Process supplier invoices and allocating payments.
  • Check purchase orders against invoices.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Collate and process expenses.
  • Post monthly payroll journals.
  • Provide support to clients via telephone, email etc.
  • Prepare responses to supplier and client queries.
  • Credit control on behalf of clients.
  • Ensure accurate statements are sent to customers.

Overview

Atkinson Moss are proud to be representing a fantastic Accountancy Firm in Norwich in their search in looking for a unique new member to their highly productive team. They are in the search for a Bookkeeper.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake bank reconciliations
  • Raise sales invoices as per clients' instructions
  • Process supplier invoices and allocating payments
  • Check purchase orders against invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Collate and process expenses
  • Post monthly payroll journals
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Provide support to clients via telephone, email etc
  • Prepare responses to supplier and clients queries
  • Credit control on behalf of clients - sending the initial email or making the first phone call to customers
  • Ensure accurate statements are sent to customers
Qualifications
  • Bookkeeping experience in a practice is essential
  • Experience using QuickBooks and Xero would be beneficial
  • Excel knowledge
