Our client, a forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in High Wycombe are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified with accountancy practice experience, strong double entry bookkeeping skills, and a good working knowledge of accountancy cloud software (Xero, Sage and / or Quickbooks).

You will be working with a varied client base from a range of sectors, providing bookkeeping services and assisting clients with ad hoc queries.

The Role

• Preparation of accounts to trial balance
• Management accounts preparation
• Undertaking bookkeeping for clients
• Preparing VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations
• Purchase & Sales Ledger
• Maintaining up to date complete financial records
• Liaising with multiple clients at any one time, maintaining and developing relationships
• Dealing with client queries

You

• AAT Qualified (ideally)
• QBE also considered
• Knowledge of cloud software desirable (Sage, Xero, Quickbooks)
• Experience of working in practice is essential
• Strong double entry bookkeeping skills
