Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the client

Our client is a very successful and extremely busy Accountancy based in the Romford area. They are currently seeking an experienced book keeper to join their team of book keepers.

Duties

• Producing management accounts
• Quarterly financial reports
• VAT Returns for submission to HMRC
• Providing the firm's accounts department with information they need to complete year end accounts
• You may also be asked to review existing systems and suggest way to improve them & visit new clients and introduce new packages to them.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of VT Transaction+ (however this is not essential)
• Experience of working in an accountancy practice
• Knowledge of other book keeping systems

Personality and Skills

Our client would like someone with an outgoing personality who is not afraid to visit clients and sell them the best packages from the accountancy. Someone flexible is also a must as you may be required to work outside of normal office hours to catch up
