Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Bookkeeper for their East Grinstead office. This full-time role offers hybrid working, with 4 days a week from home after probation, and a salary up to £35k.

You will process payments, invoices, income and VAT returns in our accounting software, primarily Xero, with occasional support for client managers on year-end tasks. 25 days holiday, private medical care, and a group insurance scheme are included.

Competenze

• Strong communication and organisational skills required.
• Xero experience preferred, training provided.
• AAT qualification advantageous or relevant experience considered.

Mansioni

• Process payments, invoices, income and receipts in Xero.
• Complete VAT returns and assist with year-end reconciliations.

Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: East Grinstead (4 days a week Working From Home)

Package: £30,000-35,000 , hybrid working, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private medical care, and more

Working hours: Full time, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-17:30pm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a highly reputable, chartered accountancy practice, for a Bookkeeper, within their East Grinstead office. Paying up to £35k, with hybrid working, private medical healthcare, extensive holiday, and more!

Bookkeeper Job Overview

• Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software (Xero)
• Completing VAT returns
• Recording any inconsistencies to help the accountants reconcile inaccuracies
• Occasional help for Client Managers when preparing yearly accounts

Bookkeeper Job Requirements

• A strong working knowledge of Xero is preferred, but full training will be provided.
• Knowledge of Sage and CCH is also useful but not essential.
• Some level of AAT qualification is advantageous, but qualified by experience is also considered.
• Must live within reasonable commuting distance of East Grinstead.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a Bookkeeper, within an Accountancy Practice.

Bookkeeper Job Remuneration

• £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Hybrid Working - 4 days a week can be worked from home (after 3 month probation)
• 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
