Job summary

RK Accountancy recruitment are working with a well established business in Blackburn town centre to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper. The role is fully office based, with training and support provided in a friendly team environment.

Duties include CIS payments, timesheet input, supplier statement reconciliations, job costing and accounts up to trial balance. You will assist the FD with preparation for management accounts and Sage experience (Sage 50 or 200) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping experience with focus on ledger and reconciliations.
• Sage experience is preferred (Sage 50 or Sage 200).
• Familiarity with office-based accounting workflows in Blackburn area.

Responsibilities

• CIS payments handling and reporting.
• Timesheet data entry and verification.
• Supplier statement reconciliations to maintain supplier accounts.
• Perform job costing and cost analysis.
• Prepare accounts up to trial balance.
• Assist the FD with preparation of management accounts.
• Role is fully office-based in Blackburn.
