Job summary

A well-established consultancy in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Bookkeeping professional to manage core tasks including maintaining records in Xero, handling invoices, and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations. This is a part-time position requiring 5 hours a day in the office. Candidates should have experience with bookkeeping software and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Experience with bookkeeping software (preferably Xero) is essential.
  • Ability to manage VAT returns and submissions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records in Xero software.
  • Handle CIS/Subcontractor invoices and deductions.
  • Complete monthly checklist reconciliations with suppliers and accounts.
