Overview

Boiler Operator - Veolia (ES) UK Limited

We are looking for a Boiler Operator based at: PL32 9XW. The role is an initial temporary contract for 2 months with a view to extend or make a permanent position for the right candidate. The rate is negotiable dependent upon experience.

Responsibilities
  • Experience with pumps, compressors, boilers, steam systems and ancillary services.
  • Read and understand P&IDs/electrical drawings.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of instrumentation.
  • Follow safety protocols.
  • Equipment troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Computer literacy and software applications.
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Reading technical manuals and schematics.
  • Quality control procedures.
  • Documentation and record-keeping.
  • Communication skills and teamwork.
  • Basic IT and networking skills.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems and related mechanical work.
