Job summary

Slim Chickens Sheffield Meadowhall is looking for Back of House Team Members to join the kitchen at the Meadowhall Shopping Centre. You’ll help prepare items, keep the kitchen clean, and work as part of a fast-paced team to deliver fresh, high-quality dishes.

Experience is welcome but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. The role offers flexible shifts including weekends and bank holidays, and opportunities to grow within the BRG group.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to high standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Work as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Handle kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance needs.
• Support the kitchen team with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
• Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential!
