Slim Chickens Newcastle is seeking a Back of House Team Member to help prepare and cook menu items to high standards in a fast-paced kitchen. You’ll maintain a clean, efficient workspace and follow food-safety guidelines while contributing to a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred and a positive attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to high standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and uphold hygiene guidelines.
• Assist with inventory, stock rotation and ingredient freshness.
• Work as part of a team to ensure orders are accurate and timely.
• Handle kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance needs.
• Support kitchen operations to keep service smooth and efficient.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and BRG values in daily tasks.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and cooking menu items to perfection, ensuring every dish meets our high standards
