Job Description:

Llew Jones Ltd is an ambitious family run business based in Llanrwst (North Wales) operating a mixed fleet of coaches for a range of operators including Leger Shearing Group, Lochs & Glens and PGL. Llew Jones also supports the local community by providing several local bus services, and rail replacement services for Transport for Wales, whilst catering for the various transport needs of the local schools, colleges, and private customers.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bodyshop Technician to work in our new state of the art Bodyshop, utilising modern equipment and techniques. You will be responsible for removing and replacing vehicle trims and minor components and preparing vehicles for painting as well as painting / spraying vehicles either partially or in full.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Carrying out damage repairs.
  • Preparing vehicles for paintwork.
  • Masking vehicles in preparation for paintwork.
  • Safely and correctly use a range of hand and power tools.

Skills

  • Proven experience in vehicle body preparation
  • Knowledge of painting techniques and tools
  • Ability to switch tasks at short notice
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina and strength

The Package

  • Hourly rate of between £13.52 per hour
  • Permanent 45-hour contract Monday to Friday, with start and finish times to be agreed
  • Uniform and PPE provided.
  • Training & Development cost covered for most work-related courses.
