Job summary

LSH Auto UK Limited in Stockport is seeking a Body Preparation Centre Technician for the evening shift to prepare vehicles for sale by restoring their bodies to immaculate condition, working on Mercedes Benz vehicles with care and precision.

The role offers 40 hours per week (2.30pm–10pm), with a £36,400 OTE up to £50,000. A £2,000 Welcome Bonus is available; Mercedes Benz training and career development programs support your growth in quality service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in automotive maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• A full UK driving licence (essential).
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, especially in EV and hybrid vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Mercedes Benz vehicles, adhering to industry standards.
• Diagnose vehicle faults and execute repairs efficiently and effectively.
• Replace parts, lubricants, and consumables, maintaining accurate records.
• Ensure your workspace is clean, organised, and safe at all times.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and service needs.
