Internship - Body in White - 12 Month Placement (July 2026)

Entity, Location – Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood.

You will work alongside our ambitious quality specialists who work non-stop in ensuring our body shop quality targets are met and issues found are steered back to our body manufacturing partners in Germany. Furthermore, you will also support our production team in achieving their daily production requirements. Our team is seeking an intern to join from July 2025.

What awaits you?
  • Analysis of quality issues (geometry topics, process topics, integration topics, etc.).
  • Regular quality reporting.
  • Developing and implementing process improvements within our body production areas.
  • New model launch work and managing special body trials.
  • Interface with other teams, engineering areas and central BMW / Rolls-Royce Motor Cars departments.
What should you bring along?
  • Studying a Bachelor’s or integrated Master’s degree and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering course.
  • Passion for the automotive industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presentations and report writing.
  • CAD experience (CATIA, PRISMA).
  • Able to work independently as well as collaborate with the team.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of German would be beneficial but is not essential.
