Job summary

Strathallan School in Perth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Health Centre team, supporting the health, wellbeing and development of pupils in a boarding and day school environment.

This 27-hour week, term-time only role operates on a rota basis, with shifts Monday to Friday 8.30am–5.00pm and Saturday 8.00am–3.00pm. The post requires NMC registration and at least two years’ post‑registration experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with at least 2 years post-registration experience.
• Experience in a health care setting with adolescents preferred.
• Experience with NHS mental health pathways advantageous.
• Proficient IT skills, with spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to pupils in a boarding/day school setting.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records and confidentiality.
• Respond calmly to a wide range of health situations.
• Collaborate with Health Centre team and external providers.
