As a BMS Technician, you’ll represent JCI on customer sites, supporting the future direction of their Building Management Systems. You’ll deliver high-quality service, assist project teams, and identify growth opportunities. This is a mobile role, requiring travel to various customer sites, predominantly based around Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle.

What you will do

As a BMS Technician, you’ll represent JCI on customer sites, supporting the future direction of their BMS systems. You’ll deliver high-quality service, assist project teams, and identify growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver assigned service tasks efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Configure and commission building control systems and network-level controllers
  • Maintain system documentation and modify software programs using established standards
  • Document service activities and generate service reports
  • Promote safety and adopt a Zero Harm mindset
  • Support Key Account Managers with project pricing and design
  • Advocate JCI cloud-based and OpenBlue technologies

What we are looking for

  • 2–6 years in control systems as a service engineer
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with Metasys systems is a plus
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Full, clean UK driving license
  • Willingness to and join out-of-hours rota
