A leading independent systems integrator in Maidenhead is seeking a BEMS Support Engineer for an onsite role. The candidate will provide maintenance and diagnostics for building control systems, produce reports, and respond to customer service calls. Candidates should have experience in the building controls industry, be familiar with Schneider EcoStruxure, and possess excellent communication skills. Qualifications

  • Undertake preventative maintenance on building control systems.
  • Produce concise reports from PPM visits.
  • Respond to customer service calls in the event of a system failure.
  • Document service activities including maintenance tasks.

Well, hold onto your hats because we have an exciting opportunity for you! We're currently on the lookout for a Support (Service) Engineer to join our vibrant Data Centres Support Division! This is an onsite role you must be located within comfortable travelling distance of Slough / West Drayton / Hayes.

What You’ll Do
  • Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems in accordance with the service level agreement between ourselves and our customers.
  • Produce concise reports from PPM visits to be submitted promptly in line with KPI’s from our customers.
  • Keep various schedules and trackers of maintenance works up to date for visibility of both BMSI and our customers.
  • Carry out small repairs & remedial works.
  • Provide routine inspections of BMS equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Respond to customer service calls in the event of a system failure.
  • Document service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and client interactions.
The Ideal Candidate
  • The ideal candidate should be familiar with Schneider EcoStruxure. Experience with any of the following systems would also be advantageous; Tridium, Trend & IQVision, ALC, otherwise training will be provided.
  • You must have experience of working within the building controls industry, as well as have an understanding of mechanical plant. Time spent working within data centre environments would be looked on favourably.
  • You will have proven diagnostic skills and be able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Be located within comfortable travelling distance of Slough / West Drayton / Hayes.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Hold a CSCS skill card or equivalent.
  • PC literate.
  • You will also be required to be on call for emergency or breakdown purposes, on a rota basis.
