BMS Service Team Leader

Circa £55,000 - 65,000 dependent on experience

If you are looking for an opportunity to blend hand on technical BMS expertise whilst developing a growing team of engineers then this is the role for you.

I am looking for an experienced BMS Service Team Leader to join a household name in the BMS space.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring BMS systems operate efficiently, reliably, and in line with client expectations while helping shape the future of smart building service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of BMS Service Engineers
  • Supervising planned and reactive maintenance activities across client sites
  • Acting as the escalation point for complex technical issues and fault diagnostics
  • Ensuring service delivery meets contractual KPIs and customer expectations, managing scheduling, call outs etc.
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver a high standard of service
Qualifications
  • Proven hands‑on experience servicing and maintaining BMS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and building automation
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.
  • Excellent fault‑finding, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with energy management and smart building technologies.
