Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a BMS Service Engineer in the UK to install, maintain and support Honeywell BMS at customer sites. The role is field-based with travel to sites in and around London and beyond, performing PPMs, reactive calls and out-of-hours support.

You will commission small automation projects, modify software, monitor energy-saving measures and build strong customer relationships while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with BMS systems and controls for HVAC
• Familiarity with BACnet, M‑Bus and Modbus protocols
• Health and Safety awareness and risk assessments
• Ability to troubleshoot and fault find quickly to resolve reactive works

Job Description

As a BMS Service Engineer at Honeywell, in London, you will be responsible for carrying out installations, quoted works, project support, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), re‑active calls, out of hours support to customers on their BMS. This is a field‑based role with travel expected to customer sites in and around the Central Belt area and further afield as required. Responsibilities

• Operate, Maintain and Interrogate Honeywell BMS Controllers & Field Control Systems
• Carry out commissioning of small automation and controls projects
• Modify and Interrogate BMS Software programs, strategies, and systems
• Continually ensure all Energy Saving measures for all Building Services are monitored and modified accordingly
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with our client base at varying sites

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with BMS systems and controls with knowledge of operating and maintaining HVAC systems
• Experience in protocols such as BACnet, M-Bus and Modbus
• A good awareness of Health and Safety and related risk assessments
• Ability to trouble shoot and fault find quickly to resolve reactive works quickly and effectively
• Great communications skills both written and verbal to be able to compile and complete reports and build strong customer relationships.
