Are you a technically strong and commercially astute BMS Project Manager looking for a new challenge in the Midlands?

Join a leading smart buildings specialist known for delivering high-performance BEMS solutions across commercial and industrial sites. You’ll take ownership of full turnkey projects from handover through to final commissioning and ensure smooth, on‑budget delivery that keeps clients coming back.

Your Mission

To lead and deliver smart building projects with precision, keeping quality high, customers informed, and margins protected. You’ll manage everything from technical design to commercial oversight while coordinating engineers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of BEMS projects from sales handover to completion
• Produce designs, descriptions of operation, control schedules, and network schematics
• Coordinate procurement of hardware, panels, and subcontract installation resources
• Generate RAMS, project timelines, and commercial documentation
• Monitor site progress, manage risk, and maintain clear client communication
• Drive efficiency in commissioning and deployment of engineering resource
• Collate and issue O&M manuals and final project documentation
• Identify variations and protect project margin

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience managing BEMS projects
• Strong understanding of HVAC and building automation
• Technical expertise in Trend, Tridium, and EcoStruxure
• Confident with design documentation and project planning
• Commercially aware and margin-focused
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• IT literate – proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook
• Full UK driving licence
