Overview

BMS Project Engineer — £50,000 - £70,000 + Car/Allowance + Benefits • London

Responsibilities

• Successful delivery of all tasks, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and at the margin approved at the point of sale
• Write software for control systems & internal processes
• Create graphics & submit to the client with amendments until approved
• Receive completed draft panel drawings from the manufacturer, check & adjust/approve
• Manage the approval process of technical drawings until completion within the agreed project timeline
• Oversee onsite installation & provide ongoing support to the subcontractor installation team
• Check stock is delivered to the site correctly
• Create method statements & risk assessments reflecting each project phase and ensure these are followed by the engineers
• Update MS&RA's when required to reflect the current stage of the project, issue to client, and provide a copy to the project manager
• Ensure all project variations are accurately captured and raised to the clients for approval
• Work with finance to ensure payments are made by the client within the terms and conditions of the contract
• Forecast labor requirements to help overall staff planning
• Ensure all reports are submitted to clients within agreed company performance targets
• Take the lead and own customer escalation issues through to resolution
• Adhere to procedures and processes to deliver a high standard of customer service
• Interface with customers to assist with account development
• Liaise with internal colleagues to coordinate end-to-end delivery of customer service
• Work confidently within a pressurised environment, multi-tasking between the different operational disciplines
• Knowledge of energy management initiatives
• Be aware of and comply with upcoming ISO quality management system, including all applicable quality procedures (further details and training will be provided)
• Assist with the design and implementation of complex integration strategies across multiple protocols including but not limited to BACnet, MODBUS, MBUS, Dali 1 & 2, MQTT, JSON and Node JS
• Any other duties deemed business necessary when instructed by your line manager
