Overview

Position: BMS Project Engineer

Salary: 55k - 60k depending on experience

Location: Lisburn, Co Antrim, Northern Ireland

OKTO is seeking a skilled and motivated BMS Project Engineer to join our growing smart building team in the Lisburn area.

The ideal project engineer will have a background in Tridium and/or Schneider systems. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality BMS projects, from design to commissioning, while ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining high system integration standards.

You'll play a key part in liaising with clients, sub-contractors, and providing technical input at every stage of the project lifecycle.

This position is ideal for a BMS professional who thrives on project delivery and wants to progress their career within a forward-thinking, supportive organisation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver BMS projects from initial design through to commissioning and handover for OKTO smart building projects team
• Develop, configure and commission BMS systems, focusing on Tridium and Schneider platforms
• Project engineering and management of small and medium sized projects, running single or multiple jobs
• Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and ensure expectations are met or exceeded
• Collaborate with internal teams, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery
• Produce and maintain project documentation, including designs, risk assessments, method statements and O&M manuals
• Maintaining financial control of the project(s)
• Report progress, challenges, and solutions regularly to the Operations Manager
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental policies and standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams

Requirements

• Proven experience working with Tridium, or Schneider BMS systems
• Strong understanding of BMS control principles, HVAC systems and integration with other building services
• Excellent project management and organisation skills
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Full UK driving licence
