Job summary

Janus Digital is seeking a BMS Delivery Engineer to transform physical buildings into structured data models and train client teams.

You'll work with project managers and BIM modellers on live projects, ensuring data quality and repeatable certification for partners.

This role offers hands-on engineering in UK buildings and a clear path from delivery engineer to senior roles with certification sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in building MEP design, BIM delivery, or building automation.
• Read mechanical/electrical drawings and identify equipment on site.
• Knowledge of IoT protocols and device commissioning.
• Ability to work in cross-cultural project teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of building data models from as-built collection to client acceptance.
• Execute IoT delivery workflow: encoding, binding, gateway config across BACnet/Modbus/MQTT/OPC UA/KNX.
• Bind IoT data points to models, verify data quality, and commission subsystems.
• Train and certify client and partner engineers to operate the platform after handover.
• Lead recertification activities with partner teams annually.
• Meet quality benchmarks: data precision, completeness, IoT connectivity, accuracy.
• Collaborate daily with project teams on delivery planning and platform configuration.
• Diagnose and resolve BIM-to-reality discrepancies and escalate complex issues.
