Job summary

Found Recruitment Services is seeking a BMS Electrician/Supervisor for diverse commercial and industrial projects across the North East, based in North Shields. You will perform electrical installation, containment and control wiring to a high standard.

The role may include supervising on site, developing apprentices, and supporting team members. Salary 41766–47500 GBP per year, with a company van, fuel card, and phone, plus 23 days leave and travel allowance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on BMS electrical systems and installations.
• Minimum 3 years’ electrical experience.
• Strong experience and knowledge of commercial/industrial BMS containment and wiring systems.
• Experience in control wiring installations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, containment and control wiring works to a high standard on BMS projects.
• Work across commercial and industrial sectors including on-site supervision where required.
• Mentor apprentices and trainees and provide guidance to team members.

BMS Electrician / Supervisor| Full-time | Permanent

Salary: £41,766 – £47,500 per annum, depending on grade and experience

As a result of continued growth, our Client is looking to recruit an experienced BMS Electrician and/or Supervisor to join their team and work across a wide range of commercial and industrial projects throughout the North East. The Client office location is North Shields and current live projects are Newcastle City Centre and Durham.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience working on BMS electrical systems and installations
• Minimum 3 years’ electrical experience
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
• Strong experience and knowledge of commercial/industrial BMS containment and wiring systems
• Experience in control wiring installations
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work confidently as part of a professional team
• A proactive, positive and professional approach to your work
• Ability and enthusiasm to support, guide and develop apprentices and trainees
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets and laptops for work-related tasks

Desirable qualifications/experience:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• SSSTS
• Previous experience in a BMS supervisory role

The Role

You will work on a variety of BMS electrical systems across the commercial and industrial sectors, carrying out electrical installation, containment and control wiring works to a high standard.

Depending on experience and grade, the role may also include supervising works on site, supporting the development of apprentices and trainees, and providing guidance to other members of the team.
