We are recruiting for a BMS Engineer to join a leading global facilities services provider on one of their flagship sites in Canary Wharf. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced BMS professional to take full ownership of the site's systems and play a key role in ensuring performance, efficiency, and reliability.

The Role

As the BMS Engineer, you will be the on‑site expert, providing both technical delivery and proactive guidance to ensure the BMS is operating at its best. This is not just a standard maintenance position – you will have the opportunity to optimise systems, work closely with stakeholders, and make a real impact on site operations.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Taking ownership of the site's BMS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Carrying out maintenance, fault‑finding, and performance improvements
  • Using BMS data to support energy efficiency and system optimisation
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, and statutory obligations
  • Managing critical spares and coordinating with the supply chain
About You
We are looking for someone with:
  • Strong experience working with BMS systems (maintenance, optimisation, fault‑finding)
  • An electrical background/qualifications (18th Edition, City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Experience working in large commercial or critical environments (e.g. corporate offices, banking, data centres)
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
