Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer (BMS) to join our established BMS team in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. The role focuses on delivering design work across multiple BMS projects, producing detailed AutoCAD drawings and coordinating with clients, consultants and project teams.

This office-based position requires five days in the office, with standard hours 08:45-16:45, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in BMS design engineering.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce BMS panel drawings, electrical schematics and panel layouts in AutoCAD.
• Ensure designs meet specifications, safety and budget.
• Review technical specs and identify design or cost issues.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, sales and project teams.
• Generate BOMs and support procurement.
• Produce as-built drawings from workshop/site mark-ups.
• Support cost control and efficient project delivery.
