Job summary

Building Controls Specialists Ltd is seeking an experienced BMS Controls Engineer (ideally Tridium biased) to work across dynamic projects from large installations to service-based work. The role offers a mix of field-based and office support, with a focus on delivering high-quality control solutions.

You’ll program and commission BMS systems, generate software and graphics, read electrical drawings, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure reliable performance across platforms

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming and commissioning Tridium and Trend systems.
• Familiar with Schneider, Honeywell, Priva, or Distech BMS.
• Strong experience in software generation and BMS graphics development.
• Proficient reading electrical schematics and panel drawings.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems and applications.
• Good electrical knowledge and competence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• IT literate and comfortable with modern software tools.
• Customer-focused with a proactive, flexible approach.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Program and commission BMS systems (Tridium/Trend focus).
• Deliver project and service-based workstreams.
• Produce software, BMS graphics, and integrate control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and panel drawings.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams for quality solutions.
• Support a wide range of BMS platforms (Schneider, Honeywell, Priva, Distech).
• Maintain excellent customer service and professional communication.
