BMSI, the UK's largest independent employee owned Building Management Systems specialist, is seeking a driven BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our Midlands-focused Projects Team.

You will commission, configure and optimise BMS hardware and software across diverse commercial, industrial and public sector environments, integrating third‑party systems and delivering training and handovers to customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer.
• Experience with BMS platforms such as Trend, Siemens, Tridium, Honeywell or Schneider.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building controls and energy management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and control wiring diagrams.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsabilités

• Commission, configure and optimise BMS hardware and software.
• Commission and complete BMS installations across multiple project sites.
• Integrate third-party systems including HVAC, lighting and energy management controls.
• Test, fault find and optimise BMS systems to ensure successful project delivery.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during commissioning and project delivery.
• Interpret electrical drawings, control schematics and technical documentation.
• Work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, subcontractors and customers.
• Deliver training and system handovers to customers and facilities teams.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and customer service throughout project delivery.
