Job summary
Office Owls Recruitment Limited is assisting a nationwide facilities and building services company to hire a BEMS/BMS Commissioning Engineer. The role covers commissioning, testing and fault-finding across commercial and industrial sites in the Midlands and broader UK, from installation handover through to operation.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years' BMS commissioning experience, strong HVAC knowledge, and familiarity with Siemens, Tridium Niagara or Cylon platforms.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' BMS commissioning experience.
- Strong HVAC and controls knowledge.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Commission and test BEMS/BMS systems from installation through to handover.
- Carry out point-to-point, I/O and functional testing.
- Commission HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, boilers, chillers, pumps and VAV systems.
- Configure and fault-find BMS controllers and field devices.
- Work with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and Cylon platforms.
- Work with BACnet, Modbus and other BMS communication protocols.
- Review drawings, points lists and control strategies.
- Complete commissioning documentation and client handovers.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.
