Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a BMS Commissioning & Service Engineer to work on commissioning new and refurbished BMS installations across commercial, healthcare, education and industrial sectors. The role focuses on commissioning, site testing, software modifications and client handover.

You will configure Trend and Tridium/Niagara platforms, diagnose faults, provide technical support, and contribute to energy optimisation while maintaining high standards of documentation and customer liaison.

Qualifications

Experience commissioning Building Management Systems.
Experience fault-finding on BMS systems is advantageous.
Good knowledge of Trend and/or Tridium (Niagara) platforms.
Experience writing or modifying control strategies and software is desirable.
Understanding of HVAC plant and building services.
Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Commission new and refurbished BMS installations, ensuring systems operate per spec.
Configure, test and optimise BMS platforms and graphics, alarms and schedules.
Modify control strategies and software to improve performance.
Perform planned maintenance, fault finding and reactive service visits.
Diagnose faults in BMS controllers and field devices, provide solutions.
Support system integration with building services.
Produce commissioning documentation and reports.
Provide client training and handover support.
