Job summary

Ignite Talent Group Ltd is seeking an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to cover North West based projects, with a focus on commissioning, retrofit work, and control system upgrades.

The role involves solo responsibility, client interaction, and delivering high-quality BMS work across commercial/fit-out environments. North West focused with occasional Midlands travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BMS/controls experience.
• Strong commissioning experience.
• Experience with Trend and/or Tridium.
• Ability to read BMS software.
• Ability to write software would be a major advantage.
• NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification and JIB card.
• Full UK driving licence and strong client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• BMS commissioning across projects.
• Retrofit and system upgrades.
• Work on control panels and plantrooms.
• Handle pumps, sensors and fan coil units.
• Perform fault finding and reading BMS software.
• Write/modify software as required.
• Work with Trend and Tridium systems.

BMS Commissioning Engineer | £50k-£60k | North West

An established BMS contractor is looking for an experienced BMS / Commissioning Engineer to join its growing team.

You’ll be working predominantly across the North West on a strong mix of commercial and fit-out projects, carrying out commissioning, upgrades, retrofit and controls works.

They’re looking for someone who knows BMS, can work independently and is reliable and professional when dealing directly with clients.

You’ll be working on:

• BMS commissioning
• Retrofit and system upgrades
• Control panels
• Plantrooms
• Pumps
• Sensors
• Fan coil units
• Fault finding
• Reading BMS software
• Software writing/modification where required
• Trend and Tridium systems

The majority of work is based throughout the North West, although there will occasionally be projects in the Midlands.

You’ll ideally have:

• 5+ years' BMS/controls experience
• Strong commissioning experience
• Trend and/or Tridium experience
• Ability to read BMS software
• Ability to write software would be a major advantage
• NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification
• JIB card
• Commercial/fit-out experience
• Full UK driving licence
