Job summary

Bloom Café in Greater London is looking for a friendly, energetic Barista to join our team. You’ll be passionate about coffee, deliver great customer service, and help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every customer.

As a Barista you will greet customers, take orders, and prepare espresso-based drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and americanos, plus serve baked goods and snacks. You’ll keep the workspace clean and well-organised and handle transactions accurately.

• Take customer orders and prepare coffee and espresso-based drinks, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and americanos
• Serve baked goods, snacks, and other menu items as requested by customers
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including coffee machines, countertops, and the café area
• Ensure the proper handling of cash and credit transactions, and provide accurate change when necessary
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure high-quality service
• Assist in restocking and organising inventory, including coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, making recommendations, and resolving concerns in a professional manner
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

The following skills and experience form the minimum requirements for the role:

• Previous experience in a coffee shop, café, or food service environment is a plus but not required
• Passion for coffee and customer service
