Job summary

Resourcing Group is recruiting two experienced Block Pavers for a construction project in Wembley, with an immediate start this Friday. The role involves on-site block laying, site set out, and teamwork to maintain quality standards and safety on site.

Candidates should have previous block paving experience, understand setting out and drawings, and bring own tools and PPE where possible. CSCS/site qualifications are preferred to support site requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in block paving and laying concrete/masonry blocks.
• Ability to accurately set out levels and measurements.
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to work in a team.

Job description

We are looking for 2 experienced Block Pavers to join a construction team on a project in Wembley, starting this Friday.

General Duties

• Laying concrete blocks, paving blocks and other masonry materials to specification.
• Setting out work areas and ensuring accurate levels, lines and measurements.
• Preparing surfaces and mortar/bedding materials as required.
• Cutting and fitting blocks neatly around edges, corners and other features.
• Reading and working from drawings, plans and site instructions.
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and ensuring finished work is clean and properly aligned.
• Working safely and keeping the work area tidy and organised.
• Working alongside other trades and site personnel to keep the project progressing efficiently.
• Following all relevant site health & safety requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Block Layer / Block Paver.
• Good understanding of construction methods, levels and setting out.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
• Own tools and PPE preferred.
• Relevant CSCS/site qualifications where required.
