This is a Hybrid role with 3 days a week in our London (Moorgate) Office.
Business Operations sit at the heart of the major projects within Capital on Tap. We don’t just keep the lights on; we drive operational excellence with regulatory compliance at the forefront. We are looking for a specialist to become the system and process expert for E‑Money safeguarding as we prepare for major regulatory changes.
Your first major project will be supporting the business in preparing for the new Safeguarding Regime. You will act as the central point of contact across Compliance, Finance, and Business teams to ensure our documentation, processes, and controls meet the new standards.
You will drive project ideation, delivery, and execution for the company’s biggest compliance challenges, ensuring a smooth transition to the new CASS 15 rules.
You will work with technical teams to ensure all mandatory documentation and data can be generated accurately within the strict 48‑hour regulatory timeline.
You will manage the relationship with auditors and key internal stakeholders to prepare for the statutory annual safeguarding audit and monthly regulatory reporting.
You will support the implementation of new controls for record‑keeping, reconciliation, and fund identification.
You’ll get stuck into strategic projects powering regulatory readiness, such as enhancing third‑party due diligence frameworks or developing new reconciliation processes.
You will serve as the subject matter expert for E‑Money safeguarding, ensuring our customer funds protection framework adheres fully to the FCA’s new regime.
Proven experience working in an E‑Money Safeguarding or CASS Treasury function is required.
You have experience with various banking products and a strong understanding of the upcoming CASS 15 requirements.
You are comfortable diving into manual tasks to build a deep understanding, then leveraging that knowledge to develop solutions using AI and automation to eliminate operational friction.
You are action‑oriented, quick to grasp new concepts, and adept at figuring things out on the fly.
You are proficient in Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with Snowflake, Looker, or Power BI is a plus.
We welcome, consider and encourage applications from anyone who shares our commitment to inclusivity. Join us in creating a space where authenticity thrives, and everyone can do their best work.
We try not to take ourselves too seriously (all the time) so we make sure our office is decked out with a pool table, arcade machine, beer tap, and a couple of office dogs thrown in for good measure.
If you’d like to progress your career within our fast growing, profitable fintech then click apply and we will aim to get back to you within 3 working days (during busy periods this could take up to 5 working days).
